With many of our work environments changed, it can be a challenge to work from home and maintain your normal health and fitness routines. Taylor Combes, B.S. Health Education/Exercise Science and Wellness Associate at alliantgroup, shares her expertise on healthy eating, easy-to-make tasty recipes and a few at-home workouts to help us through the crisis.

Plan for Success

Set an eating schedule just as you would at the office. Plan out your snack and meal times with flexibility to portion out, prepare, cook and enjoy! Having an eating routine will create that innate need for structure and help us limit unnecessary snacking.

MyFitnessPal

A good smart-phone app to set nutrition routines and keep yourself accountable is MyFitnessPal. Utilizing the online database, you can log foods and snacks, create healthy meals, track hydration and even scan barcodes within seconds.

Staying hydrated helps to detox our body, increase metabolism, soothe our muscles and joints, prevent brain fog and boost overall productivity. Aim for 64 ounces of water a day and no more than two cups of coffee.
