The Oklahoma roofing crew working on the Claremont Elementary project have kept safety as a primary focus on the jobsite. The scope includes installing TPO membrane roofing, expansion joints and sheet metal and trim. General Superintendent Richard Sanchez says, “Eric and Nic are not one to cut corners when it comes to safety. It was challenging being two and a half hours from home, but that did not prevent the crew from going the extra mile. Our guys went that extra mile to put together a pathway using warning lines leading from the existing roof to the new addition. The main work area was set up with safety cones and flags as well as 100% tie-off points for anyone working six feet from the edge.”
As Chamberlin value “Safety-Quality-Teamwork” states, “None of the work we do can be considered a success, even if we do a quality job, if our safety efforts fail and one of our team members gets hurt. Our people have been and always will be our most important asset.” Our crew upholds Chamberlin’s culture on the job, keeping our team members and those around us safe and being hyperaware of possible hazards around us.
