Waterproofing Project Coordinator's hidden talent - 06-26-2019

When Cameron Beck, Dallas Waterproofing Project Coordinator, graduated college nearly two years ago, he got into the construction business at work and at home. He and his aunt built a wood working shop in her backyard where they create custom furniture and home décor. From coffee tables to bathroom cabinets to animal accessory storage, they build for themselves and have a few clients as well.

His favorite piece is a recent live edge river table, pictured above. This beautiful dining table took two weeks of work and a lot of dedication. They began by cutting down the tree themselves. Following, the wood was milled and sanded. They then built the table and coated it with epoxy using a heat gun for hours afterward to pop bubbles that occurred while it cured. Cameron enjoys creating and seeing the finished product come to life.
