Where it All Started:
Joffrion grew up in Houston, Texas, and has been part of the Chamberlin family for over seven years. In 2017, Joffrion was seeking new employment opportunities and came across a job opening at Chamberlin. Chamberlin introduced him to the world of roofing and waterproofing and he has not looked back since. Joffrion admits to not knowing how to install a roof prior to working for Chamberlin and now all he notices are roofs and the quality of them. The techniques and skills he obtained in the field have led him to his current position as Director of Quality Control for our roofing, waterproofing, and service departments.
A Day in the Life:
A typical workday for Joffrion starts at six in the morning and does not slow down until the end of the day. Since Joffrion oversees the quality of all three departments, his day consists of going through reports that outline the materials that are needed to produce a quality service. Aside from examining the reports, Joffrion also visits these job sites to inspect and test the materials to ensure adherence to quality standards. In his free time during the day, Joffrion enjoys checking up on his colleagues to create a family-oriented working environment.
Outlook:
Joffrion believes that customer service is an important factor to the success of a company and challenges himself to create a high-quality customer service environment. In his mind, there is no amount of marketing that could give Chamberlin opportunities if the customer service is not at a high standard. Everything ties together, the on-site and off-site workers, salesmen, and managers should represent the customer service that creates success for the company. Therefore, Joffrion takes it upon himself to keep building relationships internally and externally to ensure customer service is put first.
Notable Projects:
Joffrion has been a part of many projects during his time at Chamberlin. A project that is close to his heart is Houston House. A project where he managed the quality of our waterproofing material and installation. His time at Houston House reminded him of his youth, as he created many memories with friends and family at Houston House.
Greatest Personal Accomplishment:
Joffrion’s greatest personal accomplishment out of work is his skills in landscaping, specifically his front and back yards. Joffrion takes pride in the art of his yard as he enjoys taking time out of his day to innovate the appearance. It is common for neighbors and strangers to knock on his door to ask him what the secret is to maintain it so well.
Life Without Chamberlin:
If Joffrion didn’t have Chamberlin in his life, he would have pursued being an educator at the collegiate level teaching social studies. Joffrion always appreciated social work and would have enjoyed introducing students to the importance of social studies and the importance of understanding others.
