Where it All Started
Danny starting in the construction industry over 25 years ago. He started his career path in residential construction doing home remodeling and eventually transitioned to commercial roofing and waterproofing. He has been friends with Art Canales for many years and learned about Chamberlin through him. When Danny decided he wanted to pursue commercial construction instead, he applied to work at Chamberlin and began working here shortly after.
A Day in the Life:
A day in the life for Danny consist of arriving to the office at 5:30am. He starts his day out in the shop and meets with his General Superintendents. He meets with them to provide guidance when they are undergoing issues that need resolving with employees or current projects. The rest of the day Danny provides leadership and guidance where it is needed to help the roofing and waterproofing projects go as smoothly as they can when it comes to the field.
Outlook:
In Danny’s opinion, upholding proper communication with customers is the key to a good working relationship with them. He stated that our customers should be able to expect high quality, safety and product installation from the roofing and waterproofing departments. It is crucial that we all work together as one and help each other out whenever it is necessary.
Notable Projects:
One of Danny’s favorite projects that he got to be a part of was Minute Maid Stadium. He found the different processes that took place to build it from the ground up fascinating. Minute Maid starting out as a large hole in the ground, and it transformed into a large stadium by the end of it. He said, there’s nothing cooler than watching something go from nothing at all to something huge that many of us watch Astro Baseball games at now.
Greatest Personal Accomplishment:
Danny’s greatest personal accomplishment would have to be watching his two children grow up and turn into happy adults.
Life Without Chamberlin:
If Danny didn’t work for Chamberlin, he would be an offshore fishing guide. He has been fishing for as long as he can remember and loves going as often as he can.
