CHAMBERLIN WINS 2012 ABC BUSINESS EXCELLENCE AWARD OF MERIT

Chamberlin Roofing and Waterproofing, received their second Business Excellence Award of Merit from the Houston Chapter of the Associated Builders and Contractors (ABC), this year taking it in the Commercial Specialty Contractor category.

The ABC Business Excellence Awards program was created to recognize and honor ABC company members based on their business and managerial practices. The submissions for the award were evaluated based on human resource practices, business management philosophies, training and continuing education offered to employees, ABC involvement, community service, company safety, environmentally friendly practices and other assessment methods.

A contributing factor to Chamberlin’s recognition as a Business Excellence award winner is related to the company’s business model. This is a result of being a one source building envelope specialty contractor with expertise in both roofing and sheet metal, and waterproofing and caulking with the vast majority of work being completed by their own employees.
